About us

The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is a young, dynamic University founded in 1991, which has already achieved a remarkable reputation. Today, our courses of study offered by the Faculties of Civil Engineering, Design, Information Sciences, Social and Educational Sciences as well as Stadt|Bau|Kultur provide a well-grounded university education with strong professional prospects. Alongside the specializations of the various disciplines, the exchange of ideas between them harbours a great potential for innovative developments. We provide optimal supervision for students and research based learning as a framework for international teaching. Furthermore, our modern infrastructure as well as a strong focus on applied research in cooperation with economic and public partners distinguishes us.
